One Small Seed needed a full Brand Identity for both print and digital.
One Small Seed is an independent flower farm, based in Northern Ireland. The client sells seasonal bouquets from plants she has grown from seed and bulb. The client previously had a poor experience with Graphic Designers, which meant she was looking for a new approach that suited her vision and personality for her start-up business. A logo that could be used as a rubber stamp was also a requirement. She also needed a range of print designing, from labels to stationery and a portfolio website to follow.
Consultation appointments helped the client see a new approach to the branding. Previously, the client had been presented logos with flowers laid out in a circular form, which suggested she was a wreath maker and seller, which was not the case. As the flowers were hand grown and personally selected, I proposed a logo created as a bouquet and featuring flowers that she would be growing at her farm. The logo was hand rendered and then digitalised. In a development consultation the client wanted us to add her wedding ring, so it was even more personal to her, which of course we were very happy to do.
Brand guidelines were developed for the colour palette, font and logo use. A range of print was designed such as stationery, labels, vouchers and marketing materials. Digitally, a website was created. It has since been altered slightly by a developer, but we hope to be working with the client again to increase the flexibility of the online store.
