Branding for start up company Whizzini, an automobile business. The concept here was responding to its name, and the sporty names italian companies used to have for products and businesses. Also sounding sporty, an element of speed was implied with the addition of the three coloured flash. The font was created and the ‘i’ character shaped to abstractly represent people, each with a different coloured top. These three colours can be adapted and used for sub-divisions of the brand.
The idea of different colours originally came about from thinking about an image of newly stored cars waiting in parking lots from above and the arrangement of blocks of colours. The first designs explored this idea more, but finally the design was refined down to this version.
An app logo was also designed, which used a play on the letters w, z and i.
